The suspects reportedly tampered with national exam scores including those of the Public English Test System and the National Computer Rank Examination, and then churned out false credentials for dishonest customers.
The police discovered the scam as early as January when they were told about exam scores on an education website that were suspicious. Some results on the website did not match the genu-ine scores on record. discount ed hardy
The police also learned that some students did well on tests even if they never took the test but they got fake credentials to show off, the local Life Daily reported.
The Jinan police launched an investigation in March.
"Since the serial number on the credentials can be checked on official websites, it may convince and confuse the public. We must destroy the tumor," an official surnamed Xu from Jinan police told the Global Times Monday. cheap ed hardy
The police tracked down several suspects in Shandong, Hubei, Anhui, Guangdong, Shanxi and Zhejiang provinces between May 18 and June 13.
Yuan, 32, one of the suspects who established a training center in Tianjin and provided computer and English training for students, boasting that trainees could get a refund if they failed the exams after taking courses at his center.
However, Yuan was reluctant to hand over refunds to those who failed. Yuan then turned to Song, an agent he met on the Internet, who forged more than 700 credentials for him starting in September 2009. ed hardy uk
The police detained Song, 24, in Hefei, Anhui Province in May, who confessed that he and several other suspects reached out to hackers for help.
Song forged more than 200 credentials for his clients including Yuan and made more than 40,000 yuan.

Police then detained Shao, who was in charge of fabricating the credentials, and busted the entire chain of crooks. ed hardy jackets
China has entered the era of credentials so those documents are essential for college enrollment or job promotions, which spawned an entire industry that specializes in false credentials.
"Related education departments and universities should upgrade the website security system in time to ensure the safety of their data. In addition, people should improve their knowledge about hacker technology," Wang Zhongwu, a professor of Shandong University, told the Xinhua News Agency. ed hardy hoodies
